Welcome to My Web Site, my name is Bob Spendlove and I am an artist working in mixed media based here in Shropshire.   

From an early age I enjoyed drawing and painting, and have over the years worked in mixed media and most art forms, but have a particular love of watercolours.  

Over the last 15 years I have concentrated on capturing the beautiful Shropshire and Welsh country side in watercolours, I enjoy painting a variety of historical buildings, motorbikes, and vehicles both classic and modern.

I have completed a number of commissions and am happy to consider commission on most subjects. (Please contact me for further information). 

I began teaching Art with the local College TCAT.  I now run 10 weekly classes, all of which are private.  These include General Painting, Mixed Media, Life Drawing and Beginners Classes, details of which can be seen in the classes section. 

As I have developed and evolved my own style as an artist I have discovered and learnt many useful techniques which I now pass on to my students (beginners to more advanced). 

Art is not only something I love, it is a way of life, I take great pride not only in my own work, but that of my students.  I love what I do and the fact that I get to teach and help others in their love of Art. 

In addition to my weekly Art classes I also run weekend and holiday classes, and in recent years have run Painting Holidays to Wales, Majorca, Malta and Cyprus details of which can been found above.
